Single Sentence for 3WW

Never short of nerve, I watched him crumple at my feet in a lifeless clump all because of that third illicit affair before I erased hope, crushed my martini glass and locked the door behind me.

ThomG at 3WW offered crumple, illicit and nerve as prompt words.

You seem to love your "memes" (where on earth does that word come from??) ~ if you want to participate in another one there's always Furry Fridays (though I do Furry Fridays on Saturdays) ~ that's the day I post up harvest mice and capybaras...

I love that fractal. It's like a fairy's view of the garden. Well, if the fairy were on acid. really, it's like standing under a geranium, looking up.
