Tune for Heads or Tails

Skittles at Heads or Tails offers Tune as the prompt.

I've never found a bucket that could carry my tune.

Strangely enough, my brother is an extremely talented song writer, guitarist who has created any number of wonderful musical CD's. He intersperses gigs in Arizona and Idaho with an annual Nashville show up. Do I feel envy?

Well. Not this week, I'm at the tail end of a cold/flu that's left me too tired to lift a bucket, let alone one full of tunes.

My poetry books North of Summer and South of Winter are currently available at Amazon and, as always, available from my LuluBookstore in print or as download.

I have the same problem with buckets!
I enjoyed your post!
I am also excited I ran in to you! I love to paint! I go through spurts. I have tried all mediums and watercolor has to be the hardest! I plan on visiting here often..I am always wanting to learn as much as I can about painting!!
Please visit my blogs and leave a note. The address to my 2nd blog is on my 1st blogs page. I do have a post with some of my painting projects on my 2nd blog!

I hope you feel better soon. I was out of business health wise almost two weeks recently.

I can't carry a tune either and I said pretty much the same thing in my post. My kids got all the talent. :)

Do get well soon. That flu is a whole 'nother song in our lives...a nasty one with phlegmatic notes that keep you tuned out, right?

I never heard that phrase before or maybe I forgot?

I hope you feel better soon and things get back to normal for you.

Don't feel bad I can't carry a tune either. I bet you and your brother collaborate a lot together, don't you? You with your writing and him with his guitar. I can see the family get together now. What fun it would be. I'm so sorry to hear you are down with the flu. Our family had our go around a couple of months ago and it wasn't pretty. So here's to hoping you recover quickly. And, congrats on your book. I'm sure you'll sell lots as you are a great writer.

I am so jealous of your brother. I think that playing and singing with a band would be so much fun.

I hope the flu has flown... sorry, couldn't resist.

I agree with Grace - your brother may be all that musically but your poetry rocks.

Thanks for stopping by.

I can't carry a tune either ... it sure would be nice to be able to but I guess it wasn't written in my genes.

Hope you feel better soon ... next time you feel something coming on, take some oregano oil. (I use Joy of the Mountains from the health food store ... add 2 drops to a little bit of water in a shot glass ... hold in the front of the mouth under the tongue for the count of 30 ... swish and swallow. Then drink a glass of water. The taste is STRONG. Sometimes one dose will do the trick but if it is a humdinger you are battling ... 3 times a day for the first day. Does the trick for me. Haven't come down with a full blown anything in the last couple of years.) Of course rest and little to no stress make a HUGE difference.

I hope you get better soon. I can't carry a tune but I guess there must be some creativity somewhere. You certainly have a creative way with words
