W for ABC Wednesday

ABC Wednesday prompts with the letter W. Thanks!

Water

I have a love/hate relationship with water.

The love part is readily fulfilled by pools, rivers, creeks, lakes, oceans and fountains.

The other part isn't so easy as I'm not fond of rain and it takes an act of Congress (well, not the last few of that august body) to make me drink water unless it's mixed with something decidedly tasteful.

An astrology theory suggests that because there are no water signs in my natal chart, the tendency is to fill those blanks with physical water. An interesting concept.

My poetry books North of Summer and South of Winter are currently available at Amazon and, as always, available from my LuluBookstore in print or as download.

The framing of this shot adds greatly to its impact. Just as a 'pattern' it looks lovely.

I love that theory. It makes sense to compensate. I too love lakes, rivers, creeks, etc. Hope all is well. Have a great night.

Water is the most important element in our lives.I can watch a fountain or waterfall for hours. It's fascinating. Good word! Thanks for your visit.

Nice water photograph. I also always love your Words....
I am enjoying North of Summer very much.
A poem a day keeps me thinking and smiling. Thank you for this collection of poems.
I am going on a little trip today and it is going with. It fits in my pocket just perfectly!

Rain is so photogenic on glass or flowers, isn't it? And yet so depressing seen as a grey curtain through a window. Lovely picture.

On behalf of the team, thanks for taking part in ABC Wednesday this week!

I love water in all its forms, well, not a tsunami, but must admit I'm quite tired of all the rain we've been accosted with these last several months. And yes, I'm sure in August when it's hotter than Hades and everything is dried to a crisp because of lack of rain, I'll regret writing these words.

Very neat photo - or is this another creation of you working with photoshop?
