A for ABC Wednesday

Round #5 of ABC Wednesday begins with the letter A. Thank you!

A is for ant.
An ant can lug 100 times his own weight so this one is hardly stretched to trundle off with a tasty white spider.
I'm guessing this is where we get the term 'take-out'.

WOW, ants are amazing, aren't they? Good choice for the letter A. Awe-inspiring actually. If an ant can do all that, well....

Such industrious little creatures, - I wonder how long he had to journey to find the right take-out place?

I once taught a unit about ants in French and the kids learned all about how strong and social ants are. Great choice for today! :D

One time my mil's preacher used the ant to 'carry' the message of God. Love it! TTFN ~Marydon

Or maybe take over. Poor little spider.

Ants are strong little guys. I've seen them take out tastier (to us) items than that spider. I wonder how much of a Big Mac he could manage...

Now that's a photo that tells a story.

'Take out'! ROFL!! That's a good one!

I used to be deadly afraid of ants, for some reason ... perhaps because I disturbed a nest once when I was a kid and they ran up my legs. I wan't allowed to continue to be scared though, not with a Dad who was an entomologist! LOL!

A great choice for the letter A! Now I understand why they're able to lug away something twice their size. I've been enjoying catching up on reading some of your poetry today.
