Oh beautiful - the words, and the image. This is a much better photo than any of the 20-odd ones I took - none of them captured the event nearly as well as yours does. Well done!

This is the second reference I've seen to a remarkable red eclipse. I'm very sorry I missed it but happy to see it memorialized here.

Hi Sue! Wonderful, mysterious photo -- it evokes so many feelings. Your poem is beautiful -- the colors "blood red" and "bruise-black sky" are primal and visceral. Lovely!
