This word's meaning has me imagining super things. Suppose I could write my own prescription for a quiet and calming ocean beach under a bright warm sun where, shielded by a large umbrella, I could read, nap and drink sangria or something similar. I think that sounds like the perfect medical treatment for the sanity I seem to have lost during the long winter snow.
Does saburration seem like a sure cure for something?

Sun would definitely be a great cure for me and would surely help me recover my sanity!! We get just a tad here and there -- enough to tempt you, but not warm you!! Great post and I do so relate!

Saburration on a sandy, sunny "strand"( Dutch word for "beach) sounds super!
Who knew? We used to bury ourselves in hot sand as kids, lay there awhile, then jump back in the Columbia. We were treating ourselves quite well, really, all on a long summer day. Miss you!

I'm sure saburration is a fine cure but I do wonder how one could avoid it getting into places it would not be welcome. Can you imagine the consulting room??
To me the sound of the word implies gentle stroking to the accompaniment of an equally gentle musical background, like a harp maybe, or a soft flute.
If I could also have warm sun, no flies, and an ample supply of cooling, fruit drinks, I'd be in heaven.
No such luck, I'm afraid, England is cold and damp at the moment and the cooling drinks must be replaced by hot tea.
