This word's meaning has me imagining super things. Suppose I could write my own prescription for a quiet and calming ocean beach under a bright warm sun where, shielded by a large umbrella, I could read, nap and drink sangria or something similar. I think that sounds like the perfect medical treatment for the sanity I seem to have lost during the long winter snow.
Does saburration seem like a sure cure for something?

Sun would definitely be a great cure for me and would surely help me recover my sanity!! We get just a tad here and there -- enough to tempt you, but not warm you!! Great post and I do so relate!

I could use some saburration on my chest right now for the congestion!
Where do you find these obscurities? I love them!
What a SOOTHING idea.

Ah, paradise.
That would be just the ticket; now let's go buy one. A ticket, that is. :)
Do you just look in a dictionary under S?
What fun!
And the treatment sounds luxurious. Would probably do wonders for chronic pain in neck, shoulders and back.
Sigh.

I think you're on to something there!
I was thinking of paradise. Happy ABC Wed.
Saburration on a sandy, sunny "strand"( Dutch word for "beach) sounds super!
Who knew? We used to bury ourselves in hot sand as kids, lay there awhile, then jump back in the Columbia. We were treating ourselves quite well, really, all on a long summer day. Miss you!
Great word. I subscribe to relaxing on a beach (in the shade).
Sounds quite nice, I know I like burying my feet in the sand when am at the beach, never knew it hand medicinal purposes!
You have no idea how much I love learning new words. Laying in warm sand sounds is what I wish I could do right now.
An interesting concept, it would be very pleasant to lie there listening to the lap of the waves, while regenerating.
Love the watercolor.
Hot sand would- and is, a wonderful treatment for me! Thanks for visiting-

I'm sure saburration is a fine cure but I do wonder how one could avoid it getting into places it would not be welcome. Can you imagine the consulting room??
To me the sound of the word implies gentle stroking to the accompaniment of an equally gentle musical background, like a harp maybe, or a soft flute.
If I could also have warm sun, no flies, and an ample supply of cooling, fruit drinks, I'd be in heaven.
No such luck, I'm afraid, England is cold and damp at the moment and the cooling drinks must be replaced by hot tea.
