Embroidery

Michelle at Poefusion Friday 5 offers the following five words for this week's prompt.

fatigue
embroidery
secluded
monotonous
thaw

My response:

embroidery on full boughs
late-autumn rime
settles on secluded pines

fatigue, the monotonous
cousin of the ennui tribe,
shawls her shoulders

snowbound, she dreams hunger
dreams of sugar dusted gems
in the rum cake set out to thaw

dreams of going home
dreams of the spring ferry
coming to reclaim her

I gasped when I saw the fractal. It is fantastic.
Always your poetry speaks to me.
You paint with words pictures in my mind.
Thank you.

I like the third part, dreaming of spring while in winter
