Haiku for Seed

One Single Impression posts:

Thanks to Teri of Teri's Mandalas for this week's prompt of seeds.

pods drop
sink into September earth
...spring blossoms

autumn wind
releases next year's crop
airborne seedlets

gleaning finches
consume fallen fruit
pips snuggle into soil

Ah, these were beautiful- they made me feel secure and hopeful. The cycle of life continues...

These all are deliciously full of hope; wonderful snapshots of nature changing seasons. You and I were on the same page...

Loved the "gleaning finches" and "snuggling pips". And pods drop looks beautiful on the page - it's a little difficult to say aloud but that does force you to say the words quite separately which seems appropriate.

Sue, this is such a lovely hopeful poem. Like all seeds of life we can but water with hope.

I have not yet responded to the "seed" prompt, but wanted to let you know that I enjoyed your poetry, especially the one about the gleaning finches. Everything works out so cozily in it. :)
