tongue and ink

toxic black etchings
draw false over not,
verbal tsunamis flood
the deepest of vaults,
erase templates
of minions and
on wings of the wind
pull tight the frail lines
of fracture...erasing
the cloth of light

I love how you excavate the most amazing words in your poems... minions, frail and fracture mixed so well.

Darkness becomes a blanket trapping the light.

I love the way you twist and turn your words.

"The cloth of light"

I love the image this conjures, especially on such a gray and cloudy day.

You cleverly use words to highlight emotion, I think. As I said it, I could feel it in the way I spoke.
Very ingenious.

Love the alliteration in here! verbal/vaults. wings/wind, frail/fracture. What an expert with words you are!

One of the reasons why I like analysis is because I believe our personal experiences color how we perceive literature and language. What I read here is what is processed as negative language can overwhelm us and affect our creativity or light.
