out behind a barn
naked in its muddy field
death six feet away
she curled tight against
shadows from a rounded moon
her breathing shallow
gray and weak she tranced
traced movies of first desire
before that mellow
glow of young lovers
star-crossed and coupled to fate
turned the curve to hate

Really dark and scary, but you've managed to communicate something here.
Also in the picture, I can see faces, really spooky!
Well done!

yes, very chilling, painted a bleak picture. Great!
Ooooh. puts me in mind of appalachian murder ballads. "I cried, oh Willie, don't you murder me, I'm not prepared for eternity." Spooky.
Thrilling!
Well done as usual. I love the maturity and obvious craft in your writing.
