Pale Paintings

The letter P, is the prompt by Heads and Tails. It seems appropriate to write a Pleiades Poem. I first learned this format in Michelle's Poefusion.

palettes filled with color
painterly fine brushes
pines pure white for models
palm trees inside my mind
patient with dormancy
paradise yearns for spring
palettes pointless in snow

When facing a blank canvas or sheet of paper the opportunities are endless. :)

This is beautiful! I must admit that when I write, I just write (it's just for my own benefit to get things out of my head). I do not truly have a good comprehension of the different forms - which is bad on me.

What you shared with us here is wonderful.

Lovely writing. Never heard of Pleaides before -- doesn't the snow where you are sparkle with the colors of the rainbow when it gets really, really cold? The air around us glitters and glints on a cold and sunny day. Don't know how to describe it, but I think an artist would be in heaven.

Your poem is lovely as is your photograph.
