Poem and Fractal for 3WW

ThomG, moderator of 3 Word Wednesday, offers these three words as prompt: engage, mayhem and disarm.

Wilding

across the chasm

doors are chalked
crows cluster at the crosses
meaningless mayhem
makes holes in aging folds

flamethrowers engage
the vile and the evil
disarm the veil of truth
lights of Diogenes spit

eye of Cyclops winks

I always love that you make me think Sue. I think all good poetry should do that. Wonderful.

I love the mythic images this creates. I had to read it more than once!

I can't believe it, the art and poem say exactly the same thing! This is wonderful, as is the poem after this one.
