Seeking

Poefusion Friday 5 offers these words for prompt: cart, dirt, little boy, torn page, market...

left knee in the cart
right foot dragging dirt
the little boy squints
at the torn page from
a resurrected photo album
he’ll know when he sees her
at the local farmers’ market,
she looks a lot like his dad did

This leaves me wanting to know more. Who is 'she' who 'looks a lot like his dad did'?

I don't know what's sadder losing your father or finding out you have a sister you don't know? Learning such grown up things at such a young age has to shape a tiny life in big ways. Very nice job. Have a nice day.
