Yogurt in the Dingle

Friday 5 at Poefusion This week's words are ochre, straw, gravel, crash, yogurt

ochre dyed straw
jam-packed the dingle’s
dry creekbed gravel

first crash of thunder ~
that potato truck from hell ~
drove the downpour

spun the bitter seeds
into lustrous neap tides
of mabe peach yogurt

So glad to have you pack. Your poetry is as strong as ever! Loved 'jam-packed the dingle's/dry creek bed gravel'.

I see a short break has NOT diminished your ablities only enhanced them......

I'm so glad you're recovering Sue, but I'm sad you had difficulties. I hope you know, I'm sure you know how much love and caring there is out here in blogworld for you. It's hard to do much from long distance, but you're in our thoughts and prayers.

Great come-back poem. Love the potato truck-- I am still thinking about that image.

I am sorry you were so sick. I hope you are feeling much better now. Take all the time you need to recover because your health is the most important thing you can have. Have a nice day.
