O for ABC Wednesday

What a challenge it is to wait until after the morning oatmeal to search for ABC topics. Today, I found two that work together and caused me to laugh at the same time.

I learned that if a person is well versed in oikology (the science of housekeeping) he would be unlikely to locate oose (furry dust that gathers under beds).

I solved one by replacing my ordinary bed with a waterbed which goes all the way to the floor and prohibits oose. However, should a leak occur I'd have a bigger problem than a little dustbin of oose. It might require the use of oikology.

Do you have loose oose  or are you talented at oikology?

I'm still trying to get over those fantastic words. It makes me feel proud of my oose :-)

You excel in obscurity! I guess I'm a flunky in oikology (how do you spell that word) let alone, being an ooser!

Yup, I am definitely flunking oikology. I just saw some oose in the corner so I turned the other way. (:0)

Depending on how often you change the water, you might get ooze, instead! My ABC Wednesday is O is for Oracle.

Wonderful words, - I am not overcome with oose right now, but give me time!

I always learn something each week from you!

Learn some Filipino custom and words with my O entry. Come and see.

Oose? Otherwise known as dust bunnies? I'm thrilled to learn this new word.

Well found words! I just hope that waterbed doesn't ooze or it'll be like the River Ouse in there!

The words are rather unique—here's to no ooze.

Too funny about the morning oatmeal. That was convenient this week. I solve the problem of fuzzy mites and such behind my bed by never moving my bed anymore to clean behind it. Out of site out of mind.

Such great words and such a match! Oikology is definitely not my preference -- but it does get done!

Fortunately I have no oose under my beds. I vac my house every week from top to bottom, though I don't like it. But I admire you for the fact that you know so many unusual words. Have a great oosefree rest of the week!

Oikology, I don't think I've passed that degree. Two wonderfully obscure words.

Oikology is not my strength, I fear. But I truly do admire people who are experts at it. :)

I've always coveted a water bed, but was too worried about leaks to take the plunge - so to speak!
