Dinghy Duck
She circled wide, then hopped aboard with a waggle and dance. Some time later, she flew away. Within half an hour, she returned to us like a homing pigeon and jumped on the swimmers' platform where she continued to ride and dive and ride. Fishing was a disaster for that day.
Do you know ducks who would rather ride than fly or swim?

How Ducky. Absolutely a Dingy Duck.
I would rather ride, too.
How funny the way the duck hitched a ride and kept coming back. Great D day post.
I think you have an unusual duck there. :)
Ducks are funny animals, and it's no wonder a duck became so popular that Walt Disney created Donald Duck and his relatives.
delightful
A delightful, dingy duck! And how ducky is that for the D Day!! I love it!! I hope you both have a ducky day! Enjoy!

That is so cute! And why not? The path of least resistance.....
One persistent duck there :-)
It's a lot of fun to watch ducks! We have so many around our parks here, we're almost besieged. I overheard one Dad calling to his little girl as she was chasing them, "Bring one home for dinner!" Of course he was kidding! lol

That is so cute, so glad you were able to video the little duck.
When raised around humans they likewise act like one. Hitching a ride can be fun than a run.
Lovely duck!

What a quack up! Oh, sorry...I couldn't resist! Anyway, how cute is that?
A delightful video. :) So cute and sweet.
Me too, I'd rather have someone ferry me around.
I loved that little tail feather dance too. Perfection.
Thanks for giving me a nice start to my day!
Delightful!

For some reason I didn't get the image on the download, and from what you wrote, I am really sorry I didn't! Funny anyway - thanks for the smile I leave with.
