I for ABC Wednesday

ABC WEDNESDAY ROUND 7: I

Ideas and a hard-work legacy shaped this tiny Camp Camelot into an idyllic spot to lean back, to remember and to share. Five generations have viewed sunsets and moonrises from this hand-me-down site.

Impossible to get to during the long winter months, it offers itself only to the brief summer when it shares the whispers of ever-changing dreams.

As my time of tenure dwindles to a close, I can't help but wonder what new imaginings will begin here.

Do you have an ideal place to share with family and the very closest of friends?

It looks beautiful! I have a special spot that I share with my boyfriend down at the port where you can watch the container boat unload and see new ones come in, it's great for dreaming of faraway places.

That's a beautiful shot of your ideal place. My family gathers at the NC beach and also at the NC mountains. There are ideal places at both of these opposite ends of the state which I love.

Your place seems idealic and the photo is beautiful. We don't have a specific family gathering place but we all love Lake Tahoe for camping and Disneyland for its lifelong memories.

A beautiful tribute to a beautiful place! I love the word "imaginings." We don't have a specific place for family gatherings, but, if we did, I would imagine it to be like yours.

I don't have an ideal or even special place to share. I'd take this in a hearbeat.

Gosh, I only wish I had such a place. My late husband's family owned a cabin at Shuswap Lake where we'd always holiday. But he's gone, they're gone, and it's gone now. *sigh* Oh, for a cabin of my own. Glad you enjoyed your ideal spot this summer. Have a wonderful week. :D

Beautiful! Yes, I do have several special places. Two are on Molokai, my birth home. And two are here in NM.
Your spot is spectacular.

This is my first time visiting, but I shall return! Lovely posts you have..... This one is especially nice. I like poetry, too; need to kick myself to write some.

BTW, thanks for telling me I am/was a blog of note! Can you tell me exactly where to find where it says I am/was? Can't seem to locate it! Thank you. Just write me on my email link or leave a comment.

Such places are worth their weight in cold - like the gold yoy show here.

Luckily we have one, but it isn't five generations - yet :-)
