Footloose and Kitchenlite
Kissing my Kitchen chores goodbye at the same time I unwed, I turned the self-designed bar height Kitchen table into a comfy computer desk. Sitting on a string art bar stool, I can see through a southern window, a western slider and a northern Kitchen window.
Cupboards originally crafted for extra pots, pans and dishes now hide DVD's, software disks, cords for phones, cameras, assorted computer peripherals, reference books and other clutter I can't find.
The little Kid who visits finds it decidedly different when lunch time rolls around and we move the stringy bar stools to sit Knee-to-Knee at the cutting board which doubles as a Kid-size Kitchen table. Unusual things happen in the land of a minimal Kitchen.

Fascinating and totally original.
How original! You have the kitchen you want and need!
Klever and Kreative. Your kitchen sounds like alot more fun than most. Also your southern/western/northern views must be a perfect spot to work/play.
Now that's a handy kitchen. Great post.
Klever and Kreative indeed!! What a great post! I love it! Hope your week is going well! Enjoy!

The Komplete Kitchen, and wonderful use of windows, nothing beats a desk with a window.
I think it would be too much of a temptation for me, the coffee and biscuits would be too handy.
Sounds like my kind of kitchen!
You've given me an idea...
Yes, you get the 'originality' award this go-around! Very krafty indeed.
I wonder if I could fit a loom and its paraphernalia into the kitchen if I dispensed with all the cooking and cleaning gear?
I like this story, sounds like a fun way to be.
Kitchy! (well, not really - great post - lots of fun to read!)
kwite klever reuse!
KRamblin' Kwith KRoger (ABC team)
certainly a good way to make use of a not-so-used-kitchen, :)
have a great day.
That's a kitchen for me !

Great kitchen. I noticed that in English "C" is often used where we in Dutch use "K".
Child= kind
church= kerk
can=kan
cork=kurk
cold=koud
cramp=kramp
choir=koor
cup=kop
That's my kind of kitchen, too!!
Fantastic!
That sounds the kind of kitchen I'd be keen to know.
Hmmm. Do you not cook anything at all? Or just minimally? ;-)
great allocation of space!
Hmmmmmm, I guess I have a minimal kitchen too! Nice post as always.
I can see why you were more fond of my Kangaroo photo than my kitchen photo.
I am fond of cooking when I am up to it which is why I cannot wait to have our new house with the big kitchen built.
Hope you enjoy the rest of the week.
Super original. Being creative is a must in everyday life, right?
Kisses from Nydia.
A nice set of desk and window view. Enjoy your day!
A very interesting "conversion"....
In Germany "Frankfurter Küche" became a fix term for this. The kitchen reduced by the architect ... and filled with life by the people.
Best wishes
Ralf
An extreamly kool kitchen I think!
The kids might think you are kinky but I think you're a krafty kitten indeed.
Happy K!
