R for ABC Wednesday

Rocking and Rollicking in the Rakings

Gotta envy the energy of the young, but on the other hand, where would this one be without the raker?

A borrowed photo, a child called Sweetcheeks

Now there's a child who needs to turn over a new leaf.

It's great exercise! Get to be outdoors... and then stomp and jump in the crumpled leaves!!! FUN>

Too fun.
I love Anthony's remark.
I have some pictures of our Granddaughters doing the same thing a few years ago.
Wonderful memories.

I could barely make out "Sweetcheeks" laying there--she blended in perfectly. I love this--a real treat--it made me smile.

A pretty name and a sweet child buried in leaves.

Wonderful fun! I remember doing just this when I was a youngster. Nothing beats falling backward into a pile of leaves, unless perhaps it's jumping up and landing in a pile of leaves!

Definitely hidden!! Quite the blend-you hardly know they are there!
Our fruitless mulberry will be dropping its leaves in a few days. It does it all in one day and it's like rain.

It's just as much fun as I saw on the photos of Ms Burrito. Children enjoy being outside playing with heaps of leaves.

Thought it was all done with garden vacs these days!

What a great image. I love leaves and these are such a splendid mix of colors.

There are enough leaves fallen all around for a child to hide!! Amazing fall and lovely colors!! There is so much to do, raking and having a rollicking time, :) much fun and great togetherness!!

Excellent, Tumblewords! At first glance, thought it was perhaps one of your abstract paintings.

Had to look at hard at this photo to see the child! Not something I would have done as a child. I was always too scared of spiders! What fun I missed!

All of us in the Northern Hemisphere seem to have a lot of raking to do!
