S for ABC Wednesday

ABC WEDNESDAY ROUND 7: S is for sizzling sausages!

'Shroom is a stretch but the letter S is stretchable.

Imagine my surprise when I opened a basket of 'shrooms and found this one branded by its shadowy doppelganger. Shutter clicked and the photo was sent to several who roared with laughter and said, 'Did you try to sell this 'shroom on e-Bay?'

Unfortunately, I'd already sauteed and consumed it so I  may have swallowed all chances for small wealth. Sob.

What would you have done?

Knowing me, I probably never would have noticed and did just what you did, enjoyed it in a bit of butter.

it's terrible, but when I hear the term 'shrooms, halucinations occur.

Wow. I love 'shrooms. But a 'shroom with a picture of itself on it - well, you did the right thing, you photographed the evidence, then ate it. LOL
Great post for 's day.

At least you can sell the photo :-)

Hehehe. What would I have done? Eaten it! But I probably would NOT have been clever enough to have taken its photo first.

So funny! At least it wasn't the Virgin Mary or Jesus! I probably wouldn't have thought to take a photo of it, but would have sauteed it and forgotten all about it. Thanks for sharing! :D

'srooms are tasty. I would have done the same.
But I thought someone offered on e-Bay a burgher with images one time. He had it preserved somehow and offered it for a substantial amount. Ah.. well!

That's a fun surprise and a good eye. I love shrooms and fear I'd be so busy getting them ready to go straight to my stomach I'd miss the doppelganger.

Sue, I think this is the most original post EVER! I haven't heard the term "shroom" in years - have a fantastic Thanksgiving!

So shroom is either a mushroom or a horror movie! May be the former caused the latter! Your shroom is a bit scary!
I like your inventiveness! Your header is brilliant.

Hahaha! That's an excellent find!!

I'd have done exactly what you did: photographed said 'shroom' and posted it on my blog!!

Isn't that what everyone does? LOL!

I'd have done just exactly what you did, except I'd have sliced it all up for a salad eating the 'shroom 'shroom last!

Love the new header.
