Z for ABC Wednesday

ABC - Z

z starts the zill:  finger cymbals used in belly dancing

My mother and I stepped out of our comfort zone decades ago and took an extra curricular college course to learn belly dancing. I couldn't begin to tell you how much fun we had and how hard we laughed. I must admit, however, that we learned a lot. It looks far simpler than it is and while we took only one semester of belly dancing we ended up with full costumes including zills, pants and music! And, no, I have no idea which carton holds those special touchables.

Have you tried tapping zills?

Y for ABC Wednesday

If you live in the land of ice and snow, yaktrax are unbeatable. They slip onto your shoes to keep your shoes from slipping on ice and snow.

There's a little incline at the end of my driveway just before the mailbox and it's kinda like a snow resort's bunny slope. Once I get started, there's just no stopping. These things have saved my story more than once, I'm sure.

How about you? Are you prone to slippage and slidage?
