Okay these are amazing.....especially the last two; actually the final one really had me there!

1st and 4th are my favourites but they all resonate.

the first and the last are my favourites too...

Thank you for your wishes! I really needed them, thankfully it wasn't something big (as I had been anticipating), only a torn liagment and some inflammation...

I love finding a 'gem' like you- wonderful! Will have to visit your other sites, the watercolour is stunning with those vivid colours.
I have never tired Haiku but everytime I read one like this it really tempts me to give it a go. Don't know that it would be anything like yours though!

Thanks for visiting my Sunday Scribbling :) Must go further down your page now to read yours.

Glad to be here!

I love the last two especially. Magpies are hard to resist - so extreme but so able to carry it off.

And the last one perfectly captures the way our senses have to work harder if one is deprived.

And I really like the second one. Where oh where is your entry for Writer's Island this week? I missed it! Sigh.

Such strong images, I love them, and also the watercolor.

these are all great, but the last one took my breath away. 'absence reigns' is brilliant!

Impressive writing you have! I especially liked the last one. Congratulations on the watercolor as well. I love the blend of color. What do you paint it on?

Loved the ending. There's a deep message there. A great week for you!

love that sentence - listen to the sky. That is so evocative of night here and all you can hear are the night birds and their calls.

I love how you so ably balanced the opposites. The magpie is a delight. (The poem as well as the bird!)
