Totally Optional Prompts for this week: Places.
I wrote a couple of short poems which I'll post later in the week, a tiny essay which may never see the light of day and eventually made a thirty-second video clip of a place that fascinates me. I've watched it for more years than I'll admit and each time it stirs something in my cells. I've never been particularly fond of the past - always more inclined to look ahead but this place astounds me.

Dear tumblewords, I stopped by to read your poem and found a beautiful video. I hope that you do post your poems soon.
PS_ Could you PLEASE tell me what do I do when I post my poem. This Linky thing has got me beat. Do I post the poem URL or my blog URL and then make my own link to TOP. I must sound very stupid but I am afraid I am a bloging dummy.
Help!!-bd
Wow, you live near scenery like that? Colour me green. I wonder what went on in those walls? I await your poems eagerly (and share the essay, go on!).
I loved your video. It reminded me of the log house I used to live in as a teenager. I still think about that place all the time. Fond memories, I guess.
Thank you for visiting Poefusion today. Is it to late to tag you for that writing poetry exercise? I meant to put you down but, I forgot. Can I please add you? I think you could lend some good advice.
Have a nice day.
And, I agree with Jo, why don't you share that essay? Coming from you it has to be good.
You have our attention and I for one, hate waiting? But I know it will be worth waiting for, so it's ok. btw, nice vid.
Love the log cabin! Can we see some more?
A real log cabin, wow! Very cool.
Beloved, I post my poem's URL in the linky thingy, that way people land on the right piece in one go. Hope that helps.
that little clip was a poem in itself - we don't always need words
that was beautiful and full of suspense...waiting for more...:)
A visual poem. How beautiful this is.
That's where I want to live! By myself. Waiting on no one. Writing poems. ~Linda
How I wish to live somewhere I like that!
What a treat. I am drawn to falling-down, greyed structures, too. This one is a beauty.
oh, to live in that little cabin... can't wait to read your poem.
