She brays with unfelt laughter
cold facets of glass gleam
ice cubes crash and splinter
the glass he holds is not so brittle
his face pre-marked by patient caring
and between them sits the dog
a small black balance beam
November ends. NaNoWriMo is behind us and I met the challenge for the third year in a row. This is the final NaBloPoMo challenge post.
What will I do now? Maybe I'll spend more time on yoga (lotus as my older daughter defines it). Or compile another ebook and one more book of poetry. Maybe I'll paint for a while. Maybe I'll take a nap.
Looking outside, I know that snow shoveling is in my immediate future.

How it feel so quite at end of a job completed
Congratulations on completing NaNoWrimo, and keeping up your blog! Well done.
You could always take up online scrabble....I bet you LOVE words...haha! You could design that tat you long for! The slate is clean....go for it!
“A small black balance beam" very sage ending. Pertinent to my old life! Well done!

Write and paint and nap, oh JOY!
Snow will melt. The UPS guy will come even if the walk is covered up.
Enjoyed this poem. The dog between them gave me an instant visual.
I am waiting on an ice storm that is forecasted. I just hope they are wrong.

This poem is one of my favorites! It tells a story in just a few lines. Wonderful economy of words.
Is the painting one of yours? I love black dachshunds. I have a red one, named Raff. He's a comfort hog. :)
Oh my 'a small black balance beam' what I would give to have come up with that beauty! You really are so very talented!
Awe inspiring.
What will you do now?
Take a nap......then make up your mind when refreshed.
Hi Tumblewords! I tagged you to write 7 random or weird things about yourself. This should keep you busy for a little while since NaBloPoMo ended!
