Both excellent but I really liked the first one.

You know, I will always think of a catcher's mitt now, when I see a web, Sue.

These are jewels, but I love the "catcher's Mitt" as it is refreshingly unique when talking about a spider's web.

I like the metaphors regarding food trap and catcher's mit. Both gainfully apply to the spider's web. I enjoyed your poetry along with the creative artwork.
Indeed a web can be compared to a catcher`s mitt and I smiled at the thoughts of it being a hammock.

These are both very thought provoking, though right on the money. Love the fractal, too! Unusual angles on the prompt, I like that!
It's a really random thing to pick out, but "web" works so well as a verb... I like! And yeah, the fractal is pretty rockin'.
Those are good- I can just picture the spider laying in it's hammock waiting for lunch.
