U for ABC Wednesday

ABC WEDNESDAY ROUND 5: U

Ubiquitous. Useful word when the hamburger rises to lofty levels and is found on every street corner. I rarely eat hamburgers but this one, served at a summer outdoor gathering, was hardly ubiquitous.

Because the unfriendly temperature here is near zero, I'll probably not spend unlimited time outdoors taking fresh photographs.

Nearing the Z of the second round I've played on ABC Wednesday, I think it's undeniably harder to find unused ideas. How about you?

You are absolutely correct on all points and yet I still look forward to playing! And what a burger that is! Glad I've already eaten or I'd be heading for the car and the nearest burger joint!

Have a great day!

Ah, it's been so many years since I had a hamburger. Still makes me feel hungry ;-)
I've got 'z' sussed.

Now that burger is making me feel rather 'ungry :) I joined in ABC Wednesday on the letter B on the second round - just behind you :) I must admit that I have struggled with some letters but it's been great fun.

This is only my first time around and I agree, but it has been fun and a good way to get somewhat more disciplined. It's also afforded me the pleasure to visit other blogs I otherwise never would have, like yours!

Yummy looking hamburger too.

Oh.....yuuummmmie - that looks delicious. Great post, it does get harder at the end doesn't it.

You did a great job in spite of the difficultly the end of the alphabet offers us.

I agree, it is getting too cold! I agree, the end of the alphabet is difficult! My second round also, still fun...

This is msecond U but only my first full time through. I am really enjoying it - fun to meet other bloggers and rise to the challenge.
What a great word - and a mouth-watery hamburger!!

Difficult or not you have done a great job with U - I love the word 'ubiquitous' and can relate so many things to it!

Once I started writing u words just popped in my head. I used the easy u nouns last round!
Always a delight to visit you.
I do enjoy ABC Wednesday...fun to post and to visit.

Although I am not partial to eating burgers (yah, I know, it's kind of "un-American"!), this one is photographed so well that it looks good enough to eat!
I love the ubiquitous word. It sounds so nice to say...

Great U! I've only been involved since K this round. The end of the alphabet is difficult. Especially since English is not my language, I think it is difficult to find words, but it gives me good practice in writing in English;-)

ABC is a nice game, though I thought U,X, Y, and Z very difficult. I scheduled them and hope that you are also still on. Thanks for the delicious hamburger!

That looks so huge I don't think I could begin to tackle it.

Looks delicious and I don't even eat burgers.
It is my second round as well, some weeks the little grey cells need to do a whole lot more work than others.
Keep warm for V.

I'd definitely eat THAT burger.

Yeah, my V is conceptual, W is easy, X surprisingly easy. Y and Z, though, I'm hoping for inspiration.

Would you believe ubiquitous is one of my favorite words? The first time I saw it in print, I had to look up its meaning; now it seems the word is ... well, ubiquitous:)

Yes, I am having trouble some weeks with inspiration, especially here at the end. I almost used the same U as last time, but I suppose no one would have remembered that.

That does look Unbelievably tasty.

Ubiquitous does very nicely for this week, I think! But yes, I agree, I'm finding it much harder this time around.

That is a yummy picture! :)

And about photography in sub zero temperature.. ahh... even when I tried, my camera would automatically switch off!

The hamburger really looks very delicious and yummy.

WOW! Eating that burger would be quite an Undertaking! It could easily feed a family of six! If I were Minnesotian (<--spelling?), I would be exclaiming "Uff da!

I'm not a big fan of burgers but this photo sure make me wanting to bite my monitor off! lol

First time visitor...love the name of your blog...and love the idea of ABC posts...and agree, that the end of the alphabet uses usually untapped units of the brain. Can I join this late in the game?

Irene said...

Looks good, is it vegetarian?
Yeah having gone through 2 rounds, the third round may be spotty.

Thanks for visiting my blog! This week was the first time I've joined in on the ABC Wednesday, and I loved it. Already planning my post for this week. :)

The restaurant downstairs from me makes the best burgers in town. I've been abstaining lately, but your photo makes me want to run down there for lunch. :)

Looks delicious!

I'm getting to the end of my fourth round, and it'd very difficult to find new things at this end of the alphabet, particularly when you work to a theme. I find myself stretching definitions...

PS - Thanks for the visit. ;)
