Heads or Tails - Kitchen

Skittles Heads or Tails, hosted this week by Tidbits of Tippets, offers the prompt...March 18 - HEADS - Any part of (or place in) a house

Kitchen

The kitchen is my favorite part of the house. Sound strange for a non-cook?

My computer, printer, scanner, phone and all things digital use all but a slender slice of table. The two comfortable old barstools are made from vinyl coated clothesline fashioned around a slender metal frame. I use one and the other supports a batch of books and binders.

From my seat, I see through the living room window and through the dining room slider to the patio beyond.

I see the neighbor's garage wall, up close, out the kitchen window. Not so neat. I've thought about painting a flower field on it, but so far it's only a thought.

Cupboards that normal people would use for pots and pans hold watercolor supplies, computer CD's, camera paraphernalia, device chargers...and a traveling coffee mug which rarely leaves home.

That's part of my house. I won't tell you about the guest bathtub where plants 'winter' over.

Thanks for visiting!

Awesome! You sound like me using parts of my house for things other than what they were intended ;-)

LOVE the bookmark, by the way!

Hmmmnnn. Good ideas for a kitchen.

Hello there! I dreamt of having a good kitchen too. But, I am alo a non-cook, so maybe that would also be transformed to an office area!

Nice meeting you here at HOT meme. It is my first time. The Bee, here!

Have a nice day!

I *love* that we both chose our kitchens but that they are each so very different. Yours sounds like far more fun, but mine's probably more filling. You be creative, and I'll cook, and we'll have all bases covered;)

I think my kitchen would have a robot maid ---like the old TV program/cartoon The Jetsons! I love to cook, it's the cleaning I don't like!!!

My H o T is posted, a place in my heart today is shared. Come by if you haven't already, I'd love to have you join me on my special day.

You sound enthousiastic about your kitchen.

What are you going to do when the guests need the bathtub? LOL!

one great thing about kitchen is the smell from the food :)

I'm with you. I love my kitchen but hate to cook! It makes a better place for all our favorite things. :)
Thanks for stopping by.

Plants in the tub! I knew someone who did that also and gave them "steam baths" to clean off the leaves.

Anyways, this was really wonderful.
If I had to describe the room I am in, it is peach, and I see nothing but a wall behind the screen and to my left. LOL -- not as interesing as your place and stash.

Thanks for stopping by the Victorian House!

Sounds cozy! I like the idea of painting the wall...a lot! Maybe I can talk Poor Hubby into letting me paint our back fence... Thanks for the idea! Happy Tuesday. :)

I love the kitchen too, and in my house that is the hubby's domain! Great post :)

It sounds like your kitchen is where you can "cook" up a lot of neat ideas. It's your kitchen, do with it what you wish. Good post.

My wife's favorite place too, is the kitchen. I have tried to make it as comfortable and as attractive as possible. Per sqaure meter, I have spent more on her kitchen than on any part of the house.

I guess, all women spend much or most of their active time when at home - in the kitchen.

I grinned big when I read this, unconventional, but perfect for you, the way it would be if more were willing to be themselves.

I forgot to do this yesterday, and this is one of my favorite prompts - a part of the house... think I will do it later today, just because.
