one simper, a kiss
her departure train
tracks west
he lingers by the fence
cleans all wifely traces
from his gleaming face
the inbound whistle
echoes across the vale
his paramour draws near

Great work! This guy's a master of train schedules....
Tumblewords, your poem is great. But, that guy is one sneaky young man who apparently knows the train schedules well. Have a nice day.
Tumblewords, there is a fabulous feeling of suspense here. I particularly liked the metaphorical waiting by the fence.
oh my.. that was good very good... the words of expression on his face that you conveyed... both sides of the fence... awesome!!.. and the fractals of circles joined, yeah...
