3WW Haiku and Fib

Bone, moderator of 3 Word Wednesday, offers glass, question and token for today's prompt. Please follow the link to see what others posted or to play along with this enthusiastic meme. My response is below.

first token of spring
dazzling as fused yellow glass
questions old winter

green
eyes
shining,
like fused glass
reflects candleglow,
she leans forward with trust's token
before responding to his unexpected question

There is something so supremely gorgeous when light filters through stained glass – your poems bring the colored light straight to the mind's eye.

I am just now catching up on my feeds, which in a way makes it difficult to comment as many other people share my sentiment.

But I still have to leave a few words to let you know I think these are BOTH wonderful!

I really like the fib haiku; I'm guessing that he 'popped the question', perhaps.

Wow. I think these are two of your best!

Love the imagery of fused yellow glass. And of her eyes in the second one.

Both are just wonderful.

"fused yellow glass" with the image of spring just crystalizes a beautiful dandelion in my mind. I love this.
