Reluctant Cook

carried on a cloud of smoke
the odor of burning biscuits
curled out her kitchen window

obsessive new neighbors
gunned an awkward hose
replaced smoke with water

3WordWednesday prompt: kitchen, obsessive, awkward

Funny scene though if it were my kitchen, I wouldn't be laughing.

I love the way you've used these words!! It made me smile and reminded me of a book I read a while ago...La Cuchina I think it was called....the things that can go wrong in the kitchen even with the best of intentions!!! A lovely visual!!!

I like the "gunned the awkward hose" part. I see them lined up washing down the kitchen with the awkward hose swishing. It's nice to stop by here and read a lighthearted poem.
