Phantom Treasure

phantom treasure, impending wealth
hoarded by limbo in that early pause

trapped in the space of unsteady gray
between dawn and the first ray of light

not be exhumed, not to be refound
phantom treasures that leave no mark

Your poems are a true treasure, especially over a cup of coffee waiting for the "unsteady gray" to dissolve -- or any time of day for that matter.

Yes, amazing! there is a special treasure round about daylight - just before or just after - somewhere in that space between.
I think you have captured it in your 'unsteady gray' reference.

I have always liked treasures that on the outside may not look like the typical treasure but to the spirit they most surely are....very nice as always, Tumblewords.
