You always surprise me! I love the second one - such good imagery for my imagination.
Describing the moon as a wolf moon is so unexpected and then to fling snowflakes. What fun the wolves are having.
me top, me too, 'wolf moon' loved it....thank you.
How lovely and very descriptive.
lovely images, specially the jigsaw shapes
Particularly like the action and image of your closing line.
I especially love the first one - white wolf winter
they fit together
You capture the mystery of the moon so beautifully. This prompt has me returning to the old told "The Cosmic Mother"--the spirit of which your poem invokes.
Oooh... that first one has me shivering!
Especially with that watercolor. Nicely done.
Oh that first one is a gem in the sky! It begins a story nearly. Thank you.
I like the imaginary of the wolf moon.
Both these haiku fit the image - such rich imagery.
i can see the second so perfectly in my mind
the first one makes me think of our ever "fogged in" moon..... both very lovely....
Really like the second one. I love looking at the moon between tree branches (frozen, leafed, bare, whatever ...). :-)
I love both of them so much! The words spring to life.
"winter dark"
You can almost envision the deep blanket of nothing... night against the snow. Love it.
flinging flakes and winter limbs create such images..i have enjoyed your haiku as always..thank you
Jigsaw shapes? That's intriguing.
:)
