Tanka for 3WW

ThomG, moderator of 3WW, posts the following three words for today's prompt: limit, fallow, vocal

fallow Palouse fields
fly gritty in the fall wind
squabbles rise like weeds
siblings spew vocal arrows
she spars to limit grievance

The image is a combination fractal, pen/ink and digital photo of a sunset.

yet again, quiet beauty in short verse.

Yes, I had to go do a little research, but when I did, I was blown away by your poem. I love poems that can encompassed, the literal and metaphoric side of the coin, forcing me to go in-between the two. Talking about clever!

Love all three of your recent posts. The images are fantastic, almost surreal.

Yeah, I can hear the squabbles coming up like weeds in the quiet. Well done! A pleasure to visit here always.

Beautiful...

I always think the fractal accompanying it is the best! Only to come here the following week and finding something "best-er":)

Your images are stunning! Perfectly complementing the excellent verses, always.
