Lustre Creme Shampoo

downpour of rain
fills the cistern resting
on a rusted tiller wheel

she ladles its fresh water
into the kitchen teapot
brings it to a rolling boil

phones her friends
offers warm soft water
poured into sky blue jars

for rich shampoo lather
unlike suds from hard water
that tumbles from their taps

Michelle at Poefusion Friday 5 offers these words for prompt:
cistern
Lustre Creme Shampoo
rusted tiller wheel
teapot
blue jar

Feel free to read what others wrote and to play along with this unusual meme!

Nicely done, Tumblewords. I hope all is well with you. I see you are trying your hand at writing a novel in 30 days. Good luck. Hope you aren't to stressed from it all. Have a nice weekend.

rather nice, a sweet spot here with the cascade of water of water, words, images and kindness.

This works so well! There is a real feeling of back to basics beautifully gift packaged in a blue jar! Enchanting!

I like to but whatever is in that sky blue jar! I wonder if people still uses rain to wash their hair, I heard it should be good for your hair but that's probably not true these days

-nice job on the friday 5s
