This has me thinking that no matter how sturdy at the center, we are vulnerable where we are exposed.

Beautiful. Thanks.

Those pear blossoms can have things rough. Of course it is hanging on as tight as Mother Nature's design would allow.
For us, we have Mother Nature's design plus an inner will and nature.
..
BTW, your pear blossoms are prettier than the ones we had.
And yes, a little storm made our yard white with fallen petals for a bit this year.
Poor blossoms. :)

"pear" and my mouth watered. I had to look back, over my shoulder, to see the branch in the breeze. When did it become twilight? Thank you.

We had some lovely pear blossoms in our yard this spring. This was a wonderful poetic memory of them. Thank you!

How fragile and beautiful a blossom this is. Your poem says it well.

Evocative image. Begging the question, does the blossom tremble out of fear, or anticipation?
