ABC WEDNESDAY ROUND 6: S is For...

Sand Fantasy

There's is very little more entrancing than seeing Ilana Yahav create her world famous sand art. She draws with her fingers in sand on a lighted glass table to the accompaniment of beautiful background music. Spell-binding. Stunning. Spectacular.

Her website provides more information as well as nine video clips that are incredibly enjoyable. She also presents a small video collection on YouTube. Each video can be enjoyed time after time!

She's a stellar sand artist!

Did you enjoy her art?

Oh my gosh, I used "sand" too and posted the same video. Synchronicity? My husband and I were both blown away by her art.

The same technique is used in an advert for tea here in the UK (only apparently using tea leaves)! I'd never seen this done before and it's fascinating and beautiful.

Amazing skills - just shows us what can be achieved when we put our minds to something.

Amazing! Reminds me of another group of artists who work with a "transient" medium: senior citizens in the city of Dalian writing beautiful calligraphy on sidewalks using a wet mop... Their works last but a few seconds, but the process of creation is just as mesmerizing.
