I have seen and have been a "lone cloud" ... one was beautiful, artistically, the other was uncomfortable ...Tumblewords, you sure make me think and remember. I love yard sale where I find something unique! It feels good.
Two divergent thoughts yet having a common ground..
powdered space
The second one provided spectacular imagery.
Love yard sales. I used to go to every one I could find with Aunt Mary and Mammaw. Those were the good ole days. Your second poem conveys a strong image of sky and it's beautiful in all its storminess. Your fractal reminds me of a seashell or a jellyfish. Well done. Have a nice day.
I BRAKE FOR YARD SALES!
Your 'pair of quail' is nice, I'm glad you told us though as to me it is rather abstract.
April showers bring May flowers,
'bruise-purple black' for storms in May?
..
We suffer to be beautiful, even if we are the sky.
bruise purple black! What a wonderful haunting color.
Lovely post.
Your fractals are always so gorgeous. I think of them for days.
Second one is brilliant.
Two very immediate and visual images, each in its way. Lovely fractal, too!
its the cloud's stage after all :-) lovely imageries
What a beautiful picture, really enjoyed both of these as I reflected on the picture.
Tumblewords--
I bow to your excellence!
These are both wonderful--I like the second one for the imagery, the first for the feeling invoked.
Thank you!
I wandered lonely as a cloud.
the images you paint are achingly beautiful
top knots and quail bobbing in the first…brilliant
the sky dramatically changes to frame the passing of a lone white cloud.
Oh Sue everything you write is so wonderful. I loved your image also.
love,Melanie-bd
gorgeous imagery....
"May's cornflower sky
turns bruise-purple black
...a portrait background
for a lone white cloud ' -
no emotional word appears
-sad /blue /pain ---
but the emotions do -
that is why this little poem is so beautiful ..
The imagery in that second one was wonderful.
What it is is the pictures we paint with words. Brilliant. Peace, JP/deb
Your art is enticing.
