Confession for Sunday Scribblings

Sunday Scribblings prompts: Anything to confess?

between the spaces

untrussed, plucked

naked and cold

it remains

stark and raw

stiff and bold

stuck in the void

not to be withdrawn

no viable undoing

life altered by

one frozen confession

that cannot die

Fractal created in Apophysis, Resized in Irfanview and Framed in FrameFun...

Beautiful poem that I have reread several times, trying to understand it all and finally just absorbing the feeling of it without needing a plot to a story. Thank you for sharing it.

The power of words - sometimes a thing just isn't real until it is put into words. Then it can't be recalled. Made me think too.

your words leave me thinking about the permanence of the impact of a confession or lack thereof! nice!

Great poem. Left me thinking that may be exactly why we need to make confessions, as locked away they fester.

I got caught up in the flow of the words, and I love "no viable undoing/life altered by" because you can't change it, but life is changed, so true.
