Hi Sue, your fractual is just right for your verse. If the droppings were meteorites--rocks from space--I'd like one.
I know about the Butterfly Nebula (or Wings of the Butterfly Nebula) and I suppose the Humming Bird Nebula could be a competitor.

How sweet. I love hummingbirds. We have one that comes here every year to visit. I love to hear its wings whir. Your picture is beautiful. Have a nice day.

Wow! You are dead on with likening a hummingbird to jewelry. I love this piece--every. single. word.

P.S. I notice you are a "Dr. Zhivago" fan. I recently found a slim volume of poems credited to "Yuri" (Pasternak) released by Hallmark sometime in the 1960s. It is a treasure. Let me know if you'd like some samples.

I love your art--you are so talented!

And the poem--I feel that way about so much in our world, like there must be seeds that we don't understand that came from some other realm to make such diversity and complexity. And then...we try to simplify it. Pity!

Love to you--and your creative self--

This is one of my favorite images on your blog Sue, just beautiful and very unique too. Perfect words to accompany too.

The jeweled tone of the image and the poetic image of the stars dropping hummingbirds makes for a magical image. I am wondering who did the dropping and imagining a graceful hand reaching through the cosmos.

wonderful image! I love the use of opposition - the edges contrasting perfectly with the speed blurring visual concept of a humming bird - and of course perfect haiku to top it off!
