Poem for Totally Optional Prompts

Totally Optional Prompts: Opposites. What happens when opposites combine?

Just Past Before

half a world past dark
when wobble
alters axis

in a crush of time
poles trade space
warm swings to cool

revelations
unwrite tomorrow
while words twist

dust to ashes
somewhere beyond
half a world past light

Fractal image created in Apophysis, resized and buttoned in Irfanview.

I'd like to be able to write poems as you do. I think the French language does not allow such "freedom."

I am always so eager to read your posts. Your originality is refreshing and inspiring. Any one of your pieces of art would completely grace someone's living room wall. Outstanding!

Your writing process never ceases to amaze me. I think both your fractal and poem go hand in hand this week. Very strong work. Have a nice weekend.

Ooh, profound, T. Gives me the global warming heebeegeebees.
Your word choices ever please me: half a world past dark, past light, crush of time, dust to ashes...

I love the poem and the image. I have been a bit busy and not had time to come around and visit. It was refreshing to read your poems again.
