Aging for Sunday Scribblings

Sunday Scribblings post#156 -- Aging. Well, we're all as old as we have ever been, and we're all at different stages of considering the aging process. What thoughts do you have on the subject?

If trees have rings then wrinkles must be our laugh lines.....

I like the picture, but I also like the poem, because I was just counting rings on a tree that fell in my aunt's yard.

First one is very good.

I loved the wry humor, and yet the photo adds much, those logs braced and building something that made all the difference so long ago.

I am not one for writing in forms. I just write what comes to me. I do not have the discipline, but admire people that do. Well done, you. These are beautiful.

Lovely little pieces on their own, but they intertwine well...much like the logs in your photo.

Like the others here, I do like the new word you created, but “size is key; when there is none; one is gone” meant most, ringing clear and echoing my observations of death of late.
