a clean mantle falls
through the dark on hills and town
the virgin white snow
reflecting first morning light
autumn's rain-soaked gray turns bright

Absolutely one of the most beautiful scenes! Beautiful words, too!
Definately Beautiful...I think your snow visited us also.
Snow is so special - until I get stuck in it! A beautiful piece.
A great big beautiful world as long as your view is from the inside.
absolutely a beautiful sight! xo
lovely
your words are always so sublte and beautiful!
Very evocative. Almost makes me wish for snow to clear away the debris of autumn. Thanks for visiting me too! Jae
I love how you pair your word creations with your graphic creations. It always adds to the effect. This poem however, would stand beautifully on it's own.
