Tanka for Sunday Scribblings

Sunday Scribblings offers Beauty as today's prompt word.

a clean mantle falls
through the dark on hills and town
the virgin white snow
reflecting first morning light
autumn's rain-soaked gray turns bright

Snow is so special - until I get stuck in it! A beautiful piece.

Very evocative. Almost makes me wish for snow to clear away the debris of autumn. Thanks for visiting me too! Jae

I love how you pair your word creations with your graphic creations. It always adds to the effect. This poem however, would stand beautifully on it's own.
