Only one word had some burrs that caught at my jumper as I came by, today; the first use of wander catches a bit. It does not seem the snuggest of fits, although I well understand your syllabic meter constraint.

I like who you've taken certain words and repeated them. I think it works well to push this forward to a great ending line.
