Containers

sheaves of inked papers
pieces of life, parts of mind
kinfolk's time capsule

**

empty Ziplock bowl
someone sent good food with me
I'm eager for more

These are wonderful. You have juxtaposed past and present, the enduring and the immediate, in a compelling way.

It's always a pleasure to stop here.

I like the fractal, too!

Geez, the second one is really fun. You brought the joy of a ziplock to all of us..now I"m hungry!

I truly connected with the first. It made me think of my great Gpa's diary. Pieces of life says so much. The fractal is way cool.

I enjoyed both of these. Isn't great how haiku make us take a look at the ordinary around us?
