Hi Sue, very nice. That crocus has no sense of danger or sorrow. It just does what it is supposed to do. Those faulty lines, are whose fault? :-)..
ohh tw...so subtle so deep so expressive... it was the crocus that brought me home...thr always the first to bloom thru the white snow... beautiful...
quivering ruinschaos quilt of dust and asha crocus blossoms_why is this so beautiful_ ask the poet who writes it ! ..
A good line of hope at the end. Excellent.
Lovely! So pure!!
I got an impression of chaos caused by destructive earthquake.. followed by the determination and strength in positive reconstruction.
What powerful words these are, and especially this week...I loved the hope of "a crocus blossoms".
We're all thinking about events in Haiti.
I am thinking of the tension that snaps and the crocus that blooms. How delicately life insists on itself in the face of destruction. All of this must be. Or perhaps simply is.
These were lovely, and timely. The way you string words together to evoke emotion and paint pictures is truly a gift. Thanks so much for sharing.
That crocus in the "chaos quilt" tells the whole story. Gorgeous. Thank you.
Out of the dust of faults, earthquakes and the chaos that follows, life ultimately immerges again.
The crocus as a metaphor for the indomitable human spirit. Or perhaps, just a metaphor for life.It always finds a way, doesn't it?
These two are perfect tributes for the disaster in Haiti. chaos quilt is truly brilliant.
Sue, I must agree with everyone. This is beautiful. Thank you.Melanie
