Hi Sue, very nice. That crocus has no sense of danger or sorrow. It just does what it is supposed to do.
Those faulty lines, are whose fault? :-)

I got an impression of chaos caused by destructive earthquake.. followed by the determination and strength in positive reconstruction.

What powerful words these are, and especially this week...I loved the hope of "a crocus blossoms".

We're all thinking about events in Haiti.

I am thinking of the tension that snaps and the crocus that blooms. How delicately life insists on itself in the face of destruction. All of this must be. Or perhaps simply is.

These were lovely, and timely. The way you string words together to evoke emotion and paint pictures is truly a gift. Thanks so much for sharing.

Out of the dust of faults, earthquakes and the chaos that follows, life ultimately immerges again.

The crocus as a metaphor for the indomitable human spirit. Or perhaps, just a metaphor for life.

It always finds a way, doesn't it?
