Cabin Fever
on the other side
of yesterday
movement sticks
untenable future
unbendable past
a wishy-washy now
the cusp of today rotates
like a dejected pup
re-winds in multi-haze
re-runs and re-casts
the same weak scenes
that time once stopped
she leans into wabi sabi
relieves the pressure
still, movement sticks

powerful message there,
beautiful delivery.
here is My entry
You are incredible, Tumblewords. I am always blown away by your words and beautiful art.
I love the last two stanzas here, Susan.

So very powerful.
I adore this one, especially "a wishy-washy now"... so much deeper meaning throughout...

Well crafted with a big finish. Vb
Interesting poem with wabi sabi relief and sticking movement.Love the tortoise. You can learn a lot from Mrs.Cyclops.
This beautiful poem reads as though you're between a rock and a hard place. If you are, I wish you a swift and permanent excape.
PS
Madame Cyclops is the name of Durrell's sweet tortoise in " My Family and Other Animals"
I love that aesthetic expressed.
Feels a bit like those moments between seasons...is it winter, spring or the wishy-washy now. Nicely written.
Your last stanza is very good!
Yes, I do know movement sticking, too. In my bones.
Thank you for a poem which will also stick...
I particularly like the image of the dejected pup
untenable future
unbendable past
a wishy-washy now
perfectly written

ah, I love that.
Very powerful. I especially liked this verse: "untenable future
unbendable past
a wishy-washy now"

Some great phrases in this poem. I enjoyed it.
On the other side of yesterday movement sticks
I love the opening lines and the entire description of time is fantastic!
