Ideas and a hard-work legacy shaped this tiny Camp Camelot into an idyllic spot to lean back, to remember and to share. Five generations have viewed sunsets and moonrises from this hand-me-down site.
Impossible to get to during the long winter months, it offers itself only to the brief summer when it shares the whispers of ever-changing dreams.
As my time of tenure dwindles to a close, I can't help but wonder what new imaginings will begin here.
Do you have an ideal place to share with family and the very closest of friends?

It looks beautiful! I have a special spot that I share with my boyfriend down at the port where you can watch the container boat unload and see new ones come in, it's great for dreaming of faraway places.
That's a beautiful shot of your ideal place. My family gathers at the NC beach and also at the NC mountains. There are ideal places at both of these opposite ends of the state which I love.
Your place seems idealic and the photo is beautiful. We don't have a specific family gathering place but we all love Lake Tahoe for camping and Disneyland for its lifelong memories.
What a lovely place and what a terrific capture for the I Day! It certainly does look Ideal to me! It's wonderful to have one of those perfect spots, isn't it? Have a great week!

Definitely an idyllic spot. Thank you for sharing it with us. I hope your tenure doesn't dwindle too soon.

Yes, and it looks a bit like your family retreat. Great shot, Sue.
It looks so beautiful - idyllic indeed.
What a beautiful spot and the colors are so enchantng. Reminds me of Lake Tahoe, one of my favorite places.
I can well understand that you love this place! It's wonderful!
A beautiful tribute to a beautiful place! I love the word "imaginings." We don't have a specific place for family gatherings, but, if we did, I would imagine it to be like yours.
I don't have an ideal or even special place to share. I'd take this in a hearbeat.
no, really don't have a place, except her at abcw.

What a beautiful photo of that very special place...
That is a beautiful relaxing place to visit. I don't have a special place to go. But, enjoyed your special place today.
Gosh, I only wish I had such a place. My late husband's family owned a cabin at Shuswap Lake where we'd always holiday. But he's gone, they're gone, and it's gone now. *sigh* Oh, for a cabin of my own. Glad you enjoyed your ideal spot this summer. Have a wonderful week. :D
What a gorgeous shot of an idylic spot!
I sure would hate to leave it!
Take care.
true, this pretty place to relax...
Beautiful picture, - how wonderful that you have this special gathering place. It must hold many happy memories.

idyllic indeed!
What a lovely photo of an equally lovely place. The sunset glow through the trees is so calming and peaceful. I want to go there!
Beautiful! Yes, I do have several special places. Two are on Molokai, my birth home. And two are here in NM.
Your spot is spectacular.
This is my first time visiting, but I shall return! Lovely posts you have..... This one is especially nice. I like poetry, too; need to kick myself to write some.
BTW, thanks for telling me I am/was a blog of note! Can you tell me exactly where to find where it says I am/was? Can't seem to locate it! Thank you. Just write me on my email link or leave a comment.
This scenery is really lovely.I think wonderful landscapes always give us fabulous and good IDEAS! :)

Such places are worth their weight in cold - like the gold yoy show here.
Luckily we have one, but it isn't five generations - yet :-)
what a beautiful composition. I am almost teary eyed...reminds me of my lovely grandmother..
my entry is here http://kcelebration.blogspot.com/2010/09/interior-of-vatican-museum.html
That's a stunning picture! We go up to my parent's cabin, that's our ideal place.
Looks a wonderful place to dream, remember and be inspired.
Some special places on the intertidal Morecambe Bay are my palace of dreams.
wonderful view indeed.
Happy ABC Wednesday.
That is a glorious view. How wonderful it must be to look forward to your time here and to see again the sunrise and sunset, moonrise and moonset through those trees.
